You can provide an effortless and smooth chatting experience by setting the confidence score correctly. The confidence score lets you decide precisely how your bot should interpret the user’s words.
Whenever the user types a message, the bot analyses its accuracy and pairs it with the most matching interaction on the bot flow.
The confidence score is applied to the information on the bot flow. It affects both Keywords and Machine Learning matching systems.
If the bot doesn’t find an answer on the bot flow, it’ll proceed with the search in the AI Knowledge and Training features. The Fallback branch will be triggered if you do not have anything there.

What is Confidence score
The confidence score functions as a threshold, determining the lowest matching score acceptable to trigger a bot response. The default confidence score is 70%, and it must be set between 0 and 100. You can decide which value best fits your bot.
The accuracy—matching score—is shown as a number; the higher the number, the better the match. If there are three available user inputs, the bot will choose the one with the highest result.
The bot will trigger a Fallback interaction if the matching score falls below the confidence score.
How to change the confidence score
Open the Settings icon in the top bar. Choose the Bot settings option from the list. Set the value. You can type it or adjust the slider.
